Charlotte S dropped their record down to 14-13 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Stampede couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Metrolina Christian Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-1. The one-run effort marked their lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

For Metrolina Christian Academy's part, they got a great performance from Case Gibbs as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Gibbs has posted since back in March.

Charlotte S has already played their next matchup, a 6-4 loss against Forsyth Home Educators on the 24th. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will take on SouthLake Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season.
