Baseball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Buffalo's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Groesbeck Goats on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Goats: they've now lost three in a row.

Buffalo saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A Gonzales, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Gonzales has hit this season.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Groesbeck, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8-1.

Coming up, Buffalo will take on Westwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.74 runs per game on average), something the Bison will no doubt try to take advantage of. Groesbeck does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
