Football Recap: Darien Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Masuk

Darien faced Masuk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Blue Wave walked away with a 28-21 win over the Panthers. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Blue Wave were the better team in the second half.

Despite the loss, Masuk still got an impressive performance from Aaron Champagne, who threw for 241 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 48 yards. The Panthers also got help from Ricardo Teixeira, who showed off his sure hands for 123 receiving yards.
