Malden hadn't done well against Lynn English recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Golden Tornados walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Tornados also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Malden's record is now 8-1. As for Lynn English, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Malden will welcome Greater Lawrence Tech at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynn English, they will be playing at home against Newburyport at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Clippers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.56 runs per game on average), something the Bulldogs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
