Soccer Recap: Green Run Takes a Loss

Green Run lost against Landstown back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stallions lost 4-1 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Green Run can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Landstown are ranked 77th).

Green Run is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. As for Landstown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Green Run is set to take on their familiar foe Bayside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Landstown will challenge rival Ocean Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
