Baseball Recap: Alton Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Alton's offense. They came up short against the Twin Rivers Royals on Monday, falling 9-0. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Royals recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Alton now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Twin Rivers, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Alton will be playing at home against Willow Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Twin Rivers, they will head out on the road to challenge Greenville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
