Spring Grove took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Mechanicsburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rockets narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Rockets as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

Spring Grove now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Mechanicsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Spring Grove will square off against Eastern York at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mechanicsburg, they will face off against Lower Dauphin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
