Volleyball Recap: Challis Takes a Loss

Challis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Butte County Pirates. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9.

Challis' defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Butte County, they pushed their record up to 16-2 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Challis will face off against Leadore at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Butte County, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rockland on the 4th.
