Steele and East Central are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2022, but likely not for long. The Steele Knights are taking a road trip to take on the East Central Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so East Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

The win was the fourth in a row for East Central, bringing their record for this year to 8-3. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Steele, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-4.
