Basketball Recap: Gallia Academy Has No Trouble Against Chesapeake

Gallia Academy hadn't done well against Chesapeake recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Gallia Academy Blue Devils enjoyed a cozy 46-32 victory over the Chesapeake Panthers. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Panthers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 48-38 defeat.

Gallia Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Chesapeake, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

When Gallia Academy and Chesapeake next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Gallia Academy will try to stop Circleville's seven-game winning streak when the meet at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Chesapeake will face off against Portsmouth and their 15-game winning streak at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
