Faith Christian won the last time they faced South Newton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Rebels by a score of 2-0.

While Faith Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23.

Taylor Hill paced Faith Christian's offense, picking up six kills. Hill got some help from Olivia Barber and her nine assists. Barber was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for South Newton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Faith Christian is taking a road trip to take on Covington at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Newton, they will host Tri-County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Rebels' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
