Pinecrest has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hoke County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Bucks at 7:00 p.m. Pinecrest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Pinecrest was handed a four-goal loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Garner. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Pinecrest's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Garner are ranked 279th).

Jadyn Lamielle and Jane Dare Trumbo scored all three of Pinecrest's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Hoke County was forced to settle for a draw. They and East Bladen finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Monday. The outcome might've been different if Jaelyn Gimenez hadn't been hit with a yellow card, which no doubt limited her ability to make aggressive plays down the stretch.

Pinecrest has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. Hoke County's draw makes their record 7-12-1 this season.

Pinecrest took their victory against Hoke County in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
