There's no place like home for Wolfson, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Stanton Blue Devils on Thursday as they made off with a 14-1 victory. Considering the Wolfpack have won 12 matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Emerson Mercer was a standout: she scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Hetrick, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Mercer wasn't the only one making solid contact: Wolfson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stanton only managed one hit.

Wolfson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Stanton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Looking ahead, Wolfson will host Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Wolfpack's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stanton, they have already played their next contest, a 13-7 victory against Raines on the 14th.
