Marquette Catholic easily dispatched Glenn last Thursday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Marquette Catholic fell just short of Victory Christian Academy by a score of 68-66 on Tuesday. The Blazers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kouts, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Tri-Township 71-21. The Mustangs & Fillies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Kouts' victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Marquette Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 10-12.

Marquette Catholic came up short against Kouts in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 70-62. Can Marquette Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
