Volleyball Recap: Grand Rapids' Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Grand Rapids unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Delano Tigers. The Thunderhawks were not able to make up for their loss to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Grand Rapids' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Delano, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coming up, Grand Rapids will host Bemidji at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Delano, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Academy of Holy Angels on the 13th.
