Soccer Recap: Valor Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against East Valley

Valor Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the East Valley Falcons by a score of 3-2. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Valor Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Chris Ordonez and Cris Real scored both of Valor Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

East Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Valor Academy wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Lawndale on the 21st. As for East Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Grant at 4:00 p.m. on December 3.
