North Point has gone 9-1 against St. Charles recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles will challenge St. Charles at 4:30 p.m. North Point is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

North Point will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Great Mills on Wednesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Hornets with a sharp 13-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Hornets: they've now won three in a row.

Alyssa Blaney made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Blaney was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.

In other batting news, Aminah Ayyad was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ava Scott, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

North Point always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .611. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, St. Charles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to Patuxent.

St. Charles' loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for North Point, their record now sits at 9-7.

North Point took their victory against St. Charles when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 18-2 score. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do St. Charles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
