Volleyball Recap: Elgin Takes a Loss

After flying high against Echo on Friday, Elgin came back down to earth. The Huskies lost 3-0 to the Powder Valley Badgers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Badgers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Powder Valley, the win (which was their 23rd in a row) raised their record to 25-3.

Elgin wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Joseph on the 25th. As for Powder Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Imbler on the 25th.
