Softball Recap: Firebaugh Comes Up Short

Firebaugh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Corcoran Panthers, falling 11-1. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-4 to the Panthers when the teams met back in March of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Firebaugh now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Corcoran, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Firebaugh will be taking part in a tournament against Mendota at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Corcoran, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-9 victory against Avenal on the 5th.
