Sitka fell victim to Dimond and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lynx by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Wolves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Sitka has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7-3 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Dimond, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sitka has already played their next game (against Palmer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Dimond, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 17-0 win against Homer on the 24th.
