Volleyball Recap: East Forsyth Now 8-2 over Last Ten Games

East Forsyth posted their closest victory since August 12th on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Oconee County Warriors 2-1.

Sydney Tatum paced East Forsyth's offense, picking up seven kills. Tatum got some help from Chelsea Torrence and her 12 assists. Mataya Orth controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Oconee County's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Cameron Webb, who had nine digs and six assists, and Callie Hayes, who had seven digs.

East Forsyth is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Oconee County, with the loss, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 28-11.

East Forsyth has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Greater Atlanta Christian on the 27th. As for Oconee County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Forsyth Central on the 27th.
