After both having extra time off, the Lakeland Lakers and the Jimtown Jimmies will shake off the rust and duke it out at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lakeland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Westview as they made off with a 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Lakers have posted against the Warriors since September 1, 2022.

Meanwhile, Jimtown had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jimmies have posted against the Lions since September 14, 2023.

Lakeland's victory bumped their record up to 18-13. As for Jimtown, their win bumped their record up to 14-18.
