Illiana Christian has gone a perfect 7-0 against Hammond Bishop Noll recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Vikings will head out to take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Illiana Christian will be strutting in after a win while Hammond Bishop Noll will be coming in after a loss.
Illiana Christian was handed a seven-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Harrison 13-11.

Lydia VanderWoude was a standout: she went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Daliege, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Illiana Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Hammond Bishop Noll was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Griffith.
Molly Whelan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Hammond Bishop Noll saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madelynn (Maddie) Queen, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Hammond Bishop Noll now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Illiana Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Monday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Illiana Christian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .378. However, it's not like Hammond Bishop Noll struggles in that department as they've averaged .355. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Illiana Christian took their victory against Hammond Bishop Noll in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
