Volleyball Recap: Crawford's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Crawford had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Caldwell Hornets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pirates also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Their offense was headlined by Ella Connell and Charis Milam, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Ainsley Anderson and her 20 assists. Camryn Powers controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Crawford's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Caldwell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Crawford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lorena on the 15th. As for Caldwell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Groesbeck on the 15th.
