Basketball Game Preview: Southern Alamance Patriots vs. Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves

The Southern Alamance Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Ridge took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Southern Alamance, who comes in off a win.

Southern Alamance is coming into the game on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight victories. They came out on top against North Moore by a score of 64-52 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 63-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carrboro.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Southern Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.

Southern Alamance didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Cedar Ridge in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 52-47 victory. Will Southern Alamance repeat their success, or does Cedar Ridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
