Edgewood has gone 8-2 against Satellite recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Both will face off at 6:00 p.m. without much rest having both just played.

Edgewood is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy on Monday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Edgewood was dealt a 77-21 defeat at the hands of Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy. The loss continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Satellite waltzed into their matchup on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 48-34 victory over the Wildcats. The Scorpions pushed the score to 42-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Wildcats cut but never quite recovered from.

Satellite now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Edgewood, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 11-8.

Edgewood skirted past Satellite 45-42 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Will Edgewood repeat their success, or does Satellite have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
