Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northshore). They had just enough and edged out the Salmen Spartans 31-28. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered an 18-14 loss the last time these two teams met.

Northshore's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Salmen, they moved to 3-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Northshore will take on Chalmette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Owls' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Salmen, they will face off against Fontainebleau at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
