Softball Recap: Freedom Falcons vs. Heritage Patriots

While Freedom put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Heritage. The Falcons put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 15-0 victory. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Freedom got a great performance from Riley Moon as she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Moon has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Terralynn Delauter was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Yasmeen Sanchez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.
