Baseball Recap: Valley Union Takes a Loss

Valley Union lost against Desert Christian back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Blue Devils fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Valley Union's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Desert Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-9 record this season.

Valley Union will take on Duncan at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildkats have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Desert Christian, they will square off against Willcox at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
