Soccer Game Preview: Alexander Central vs. Freedom

The Alexander Central Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Freedom Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Alexander Central is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Hibriten on Monday. Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-1. As for Alexander Central, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5-4.

Alexander Central beat Freedom 3-1 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
