After having lost a blowout in their previous game against StoneBridge, Gateway Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 47-43 W over the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators. This was a revenge game for Gateway Christian: when they faced off against Greenbrier Christian Academy back in January, they had to take a 69-52 loss.

Greenbrier Christian Academy's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Luke Macdermod, who posted 16 points, and Josh Schneider, who put up 13 points.

Gateway Christian's record now sits at 2-14. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Gateway Christian will challenge Isle of Wight Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-35 win against Broadwater Academy on the 8th.
