Basketball Game Preview: Pinellas Park Patriots vs. Osceola Warriors

The Pinellas Park Patriots will challenge the Osceola Warriors on Monday. Pinellas Park is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Pinellas Park was beaten by Clearwater Central Catholic 72-39. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 625th, while the Marauders are ranked 276th).

Meanwhile, Osceola was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Shorecrest Prep.

Pinellas Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Osceola, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.

Pinellas Park was dealt a bruising 70-23 defeat at the hands of Osceola when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can Pinellas Park avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
