Clarion Area entered their tilt with Moniteau on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Derek Smail made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
