Football Game Preview: Clearwater Valley vs. Prairie

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Prairie. On Friday they will take on Clearwater Valley at 7:00 PM. Clearwater Valley will need to watch out since Prairie have now posted big point totals in their last seven contests.

Prairie might be getting used to good results now that the squad has six wins in a row. They put a hurting on Kamiah to the tune of 62-0. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

As for Clearwater Valley, they won against Potlatch two weeks ago with 50 points, and they decided to stick to that point total again last Friday. Clearwater Valley were fully in charge, breezing past Troy 50-0. The lopsided score is just par for the course this season for Clearwater Valley, who can brag about six blowout wins.

Prairie took the contest and then some with a 64-28 victory over Clearwater Valley the last time the two teams met. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
