Volleyball Recap: Sharon Takes a Loss

If Sharon was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Taunton on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Attleboro Bombardiers on Monday, falling 3-0. The Eagles have struggled against the Bombardiers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-8, 25-10.

Sharon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Attleboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sharon will take on rival Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Attleboro is set to challenge their familiar foe King Philip Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
