Basketball Recap: Leeton Triumphs

Leeton lost to Crest Ridge back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Leeton Bulldogs managed a 52-46 victory over the Crest Ridge Cougars.

Leeton's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Crest Ridge, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leeton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Macks Creek at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Crest Ridge and Putnam County will round out the year against one another at at 5:30 p.m. on December 30th.
