Basketball Recap: Jim Hill Comes Up Short

Jim Hill entered their contest against Terry on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Jim Hill Tigers were outmatched by the Terry Bulldogs and fell 54-19. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Jones, who dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 14 boards, and 12 blocks. Jones is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Zion Nelson, who went 6 of 11 en route to 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Jim Hill's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Terry, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Jim Hill will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Jones at 6:00 p.m. As for Terry, they will take on Pearl River Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
