Lowry got themselves on the board against Elko on Wednesday, but Elko never followed suit. They blew past the Indians 10-0. Considering the Buckaroos have won ten matchups by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Maite Bengochea was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over six innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Kira Wiley was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Dana Micone, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Lowry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .414. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elko only posted a batting average of .000.

Lowry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Elko, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Lowry will face off against McQueen at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elko, they will take on Churchill County at 2:00 p.m. on the 11th.
