Soccer Recap: Leadership Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Leadership Academy can now relate to. They fell just short of the NCSSM: Morganton Dragons by a score of 1-0 on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Leadership Academy haven't been shut out since back in August.

Leadership Academy's loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5-5. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-6-2 record this season.

Leadership Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for NCSSM: Morganton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clover Garden School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
