After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Barron Collier, Palmetto Ridge was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Golden Gate Titans. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Palmetto Ridge was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 23-25, 20-25, 25-18, 19-17.

Palmetto Ridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Golden Gate, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Looking ahead, Palmetto Ridge will square off against First Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Golden Gate, they will face off against Naples Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
