Volleyball Recap: Masterman Comes Up Short

If Masterman was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Abraham Lincoln last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Masterman fell 3-1 to the Academy at Palumbo Griffin on Tuesday. Masterman has struggled against Academy at Palumbo recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Masterman's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Academy at Palumbo, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Masterman will host Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy at Palumbo, after both having extra time off, they and Central will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 2:45 p.m. on the 16th.
