Volleyball Recap: Whitehall Victorious

Whitehall won the last time they faced Osseo-Fairchild and things went their way on Saturday too. The Norse walked away with a 2-0 win over the Thunder. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Norse.

While Whitehall won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18.

Paige Lisowski paced Whitehall's offense, picking up eight kills. Lisowski got some help from Kyla Lambeck and her 11 assists.

Whitehall now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Osseo-Fairchild, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Whitehall and Osseo-Fairchild will both be playing Durand-Arkansaw the next time they take the court. The Norse will head out to face the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Thunder will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
