             The Unity Christian Academy Warriors will square off against the Ahoskie Christian Ahoskie Christian at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Unity Christian Academy will be strutting in after a  victory while Ahoskie Christian will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Unity Christian Academy took a loss when they played away from home  last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Monday. They managed  a  46-40 win over Mount Calvary Christian Academy. Unity Christian Academy's offense checked out after the first half but had enough  points banked to take the game anyway.
 Unity Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jake Whitehurst led the charge by  posting 17 points in addition to two  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Avery Ramirez-Diaz, who  scored seven points along with six  steals and five  rebounds.
 Meanwhile,  a  victory for Ahoskie Christian just wasn't in the cards  on Tuesday as the  team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They took a  blow against New Life Academy, falling  91-59. The  loss   continues a  trend for Ahoskie Christian in their matchups with New Life Academy: they've now lost six in a row.
 Despite the  defeat, Ahoskie Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman  Jaelen Rascoe  dropped  a double-double on 25 points and ten  rebounds. That was a full 42.4% of Ahoskie Christian's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's   scored  more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was  Jacob Earley, who  went 5 for 6 en route to 14 points.
 The  win snapped Unity Christian Academy's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Ahoskie Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Unity Christian Academy strolled past Ahoskie Christian in their previous meeting  back in February of 2019 by a score of  54-37.
