Basketball Recap: Summit Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Five

Summit Christian Academy had won four straight games and MJ Patton did his part to make it five on Saturday. The Summit Christian Academy Falcons came out on top against Grace Christian by a score of 53-41 which was due in part to Patton, who shot 43% from the field to rack up 19 points and five assists. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least 17 points.

Chance Watkins was another key player, putting up ten points and eight boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Despite the loss, Grace Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Brody Harris posted 15 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Asher Cicenas, who earned nine points.

Summit Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 29-4. As for Grace Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.

As of now, neither Summit Christian Academy nor Grace Christian have any future games scheduled.
