On Thursday Jake Brande struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). The effort marked the fewest hits Brande has had since back in March. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than one walk. On the year, he has an ERA of 1.45 over 43.3 innings pitched.
