Football Recap: Carter Doolittle and Jonah Baldivia Secure Win for Western Christian

Western Christian extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 3-0. They strolled past the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers with points to spare, taking the game 28-12. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Lancers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

A big part of Western Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between Carter Doolittle and his top target Jonah Baldivia. Doolittle rushed for 28 yards and one touchdown while Baldivia gained 58 total yards and two touchdowns.

Western Christian was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 260 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 166 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

As for Santa Rosa Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

Although Santa Rosa Academy took the loss, they still got scores from Tyler Quaintance and Christopher Ramirez.

Looking ahead, Western Christian will face off against Indio at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they will square off against Kearny at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
