Basketball Game Preview: Tularosa Wildcats vs. Ruidoso Warriors

The Tularosa Wildcats will head out to take on the Ruidoso Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Tularosa came up short against New Mexico Military Institute and fell 61-54.

Meanwhile, Ruidoso posted their biggest victory since January 6th on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Dexter as Ruidoso made off with a 66-43 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won seven in a row.

Ruidoso's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Tularosa, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 19-6.

Tularosa was able to grind out a solid victory over Ruidoso in their previous matchup last Wednesday, winning 56-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tularosa since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
