Baseball Recap: Centennial Now 18-2 over Last 20 Games

Centennial faced Canyon del Oro in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Coyotes' pitcher stepped up to hand the Dorados a 1-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Coyotes: when they faced off against the Dorados last Thursday, they had to take a 6-4 defeat.

Not much got past JT Price, who gave up just six hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Canyon del Oro off the board. Price has been consistent for a while: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cohen Baack, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won 18 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.
