Volleyball Recap: Pickens Academy Has No Trouble Against Breakthrough Charter

The Pickens Academy Pirates got the win against Breakthrough Charter on Monday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pickens Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15, 25-14.

Pickens Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-9 record this season. As for Breakthrough Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Pickens Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bibb County on the 7th. Hopefully Breakthrough Charter paid attention to Pickens Academy's matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on Pickens Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
