Softball Recap: Glenwood's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Atlantic the last time they met, Glenwood decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Trojans 5-3. The game was the first time the Rams have beaten the Trojans on their field since June 19, 2023.

Glenwood's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9. As for Atlantic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Looking ahead, Glenwood will take on St. Albert at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rams are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Atlantic, they have already played their next matchup, an 11-1 loss against Winterset on the 13th.
